Mission

Fighting for Our Right-of-Way: A Duval-based order, advocating for the rights of cyclists and pedestrians. Join us. United, WE make a difference!

Mission

Through a variety of means, we advocate, but currently our primary focuses are: circulating a city-wide petition for more cycling and pedestrian infrastructure, spreading the word regarding the rules of the road, strengthening our cycling community through networking and hosting fun bike riding events, and coordinating various events for Jacksonville’s Bike Month in May.

Another notable way we advocate is each individual’s efforts to bicycle just about everywhere, despite the fact that Jacksonville is the most spread out city in the nation and also the third most dangerous city in the nation for cyclists, pedestrians, and children who play in our neighborhoods and walk and bike to and from school.

We also serve as liaisons between the city officials of Jacksonville, FDOT, and the bicycling community by attending every Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) meeting and helping out however way we can.

Our ultimate goal is to help Jacksonville evolve from the third most dangerous city in the nation to becoming one of the safest cities for pedestrians and cyclists alike. Our city is a beautiful one. Our roads are wider than many narrow roads indicative of the north. Our weather is year-round conducive for riding bikes. Our city was made to share the road.
